Back in GB01 "Dawn of the Multiverse Alliance", when the Energy Boost ability was introduced, Knight and Apprentice support was divided pretty cleanly between Volnar and ATLAS for Knight & Yomajin Front and Wonderverse for Apprentice. Since then, that clean divide has ceased, and now we finally get the Energy Boost ability in more factions. It'd be unsurprising if Wonderverse, and maybe even Exvaders, also end up getting an Energy Boost unit in this set.
Military in particular strongly benefits from this, as the Knight build that has always preferred Red-Blue, and now will have the option to run 5-8 Energy Boosters. Even better for those builds, Renjaku even happens to be Military, so running more Energy Boosters won't be detrimental to the recent cards like Draconoid Dreadnaught "Fuse-ikazuchi" and Battalionslinger, Garson, which want your deck to be filled with as many Military cards as possible.
One last note is that this will allow 12. L - Legion to boost its consistency at seeing Energy Boost now that is able to carry 3 different units with the ability, even more so given 2 of them are Military which has quite a few cards to grab low level units from damage or graveyard.
