Analysis

My Body Becomes Steel gives the Martial Skill deck a powerful set-up tool, allowing 15. O - Overlord builds to instantly set up powerful, high cost Martial Skill events like Golden Sword and Bruncvík's Decapitation for use by Goldenscale Swordsman and Chimerala, the Dragonblood Princess.

Its other mode allows your ruler to become an incredible field clearer, with most rulers that would make use of this hitting 6 or 8 total ATK over the course of the 2 attacks the Double Attack grants. Beyond that, it makes it a very powerful card for use in 4. D - Dreadnought, where the bonus ruler attack means an additional drive.

Its isn't quite a blank, but its only slightly better. The readying effect won't help you defensively at all, and triggering it during your own attack phase to make use of it is very difficult currently. None of the current ways to guarantee a activation work in this phase (barring Kouga Kinomiya, Oniga Regiment Commander set-up), and even chance based methods are rather limited, only really containing 20. T - Trickster on attack self-damage and 4. D - Dreadnought driving a self-damaging card like Calabera, Little Red Bomber on its attack. Even among these, 20. T - Trickster has poor synergy with My Body Becomes Steel's normal abilities, being too limited on resources to take advantage of the Martial Skill deck, and Double Attack resulting in more self-damage. As a result, while its an ability to keep in the back of one's mind for future reveals, for now this should be treated as a blank.
