Flavor Text: Why did you put it in your deck?!
    ---
    Gate Ruler new card released!
    Yomajin Front Event Card "Haunting~~!!"

Looking at the text, it looks like a card that has absolutely no reason to be included in the deck, but after the rules are released on November 27th, everyone will understand.

If you are interested in the rules, please have fun speculating. This is my personal opinion, but I feel like the culture of "enjoying speculation" is diminishing because information is too easily accessible nowadays. Both Gundam and Eva were things people had fun with by speculating even though they didn't fully understand.

As I have stated from the very beginning, Gate Ruler takes advantage of information society and promotes "up until the release, information will be released bit by bit to enjoy the build up". Those who enjoy speculation are having a lot of fun, though people who want answers right away are dissatisfied.

It can't be helped that right now Gate Ruler is for those who enjoy speculation.

If there had been a 3 month gap between the rules being released and being able to play the game, I think its true that Gate Ruler would have been forgotten.

Anyways, the rules will be released in just 1 month!

  • In the discussion of "Haunting~~!!" about 80% of people thought "It is possible there's effects that benefit from being dealt damage like Buddyfight's Fifth Omni Drum?" and that's where the discussion stopped.

Its not that you can't use it in that way, but what about -5 above? That remains a mystery.

Before even the 2nd tweet happened, I suspected that the primary deal with Haunting wasn't from it dealing damage. After all, Ikeda said it would make sense after the rules are published, which is very different from having a specific card interaction. My best guess is that Level is a costing system, and Haunting's -5 therefore ends up giving you +5 to your resources to the turn. Only being used the turn it first enters your hand or is checked (via drive or damage) in addition to dealing 2 damage (which everything we know implies will be on average a fifth of your life, so its a significant amount) gives that large resource gain enough of a drawback.

To stores. Currently, we are in the process of contracting with each wholesaler. We will send you the product information as soon as it is finalized. Thank you for your cooperation.

The image is finally released! Wonderverse's Ace card, "Knights of the Round Table, Space Arthur"! The player's life hits 0, and they lost! With the powerful effect "Final Guardian", it is summoned at that moment, recovers the player's life and ends the opponent's turn!

Obviously, dangerous effects like this have a limit of once per turn or once per game.
Because it is a TCG developed by learning from the successes and failures of every TCG.
