Generally, TCG brings together the tastes of illustrations. Yu-Gi-Oh! has a typical illustration for Yu-Gi-Oh! and Duel Masters has a typical illustration for Duel Masters. Duel Masters occasionally adventures outside its typical illustrations, but they are generally unified. This is the natural know-how that helps to unify the world view.
In Gate Ruler, we aim to create a diversified world view so that illustrations of many tastes could be introduced as much as possible while leaving some unity in each Race and Faction. There are few TCGs with such varied illustrations, so this may be a new experiment.

Initially, the vanilla cards were too strong, and I had a hard time adjusting the balance. Even now, some of the strongest cards are vanillas.
