New partial reveals from Starter Deck 2, Booster Pack 1, and the Promo Card alike, more information on the Gate Ruler official card sleeves, and some further clarification on the situation with the pre-release promo.

    ATLAS key character, CEO Midas.
He is not a good person, but he is also not a bad person with an evil will. He is faithful to what he wants, and has his own aesthetics. However, his ambitions bring disorder to the world. Not that he regrets this, and its a fact of the world that there are people who are attracted to him and help him.

As we suspected might be the case in our previous article, ATLAS has received a Legend Card in Starter Deck 02! Assuming the same happens for Wonderverse in Starter Deck 01, this would give every faction 2 Legends in Set 1, with the exception of Exvaders who have been deliberately given far less cards than the other factions in the 1st Set.

In addition, "Win Win" is also the first Event Card revealed to lack a [CNT] effect, and thus does not contribute to your deck's [CNT] limit. However, being a Legend Card, this might be more of a drawback, since unlike all 6 of the other Legend Cards that have been revealed, damaging this Legend Card will cause you to completely lose access to its effect.

    Variere of Mirror Scales

    Faction: Volnar
    Card Type: Unit

    ---
1 of the 5 cards from Set 1's promo pack has been revealed!
It is "Variere of Mirror Scales".
It has a powerful effect that no card in Booster Set 1 shares. I think you can predict the effect from the name and illustrations...! Its a pretty strong card, but don't worry, it will be reprinted in Booster Set 2.

The image of the Yomajin Front soldiers is light clothing with an exoskeleton like "Byakuya" and "Inagi", the basic design is a soldier with a visible face with an emphasis on mobility.

On the other hand, ATLAS soldiers are drawn with the image of a FPS like Halo, futuristic and with full body armor.

Gate Ruler deck boxes will also be available!

The second order for sleeves has started, and the pre-release orders for sleeves has not been closed yet.
    Thank you.

Note: This tweet is from November 21st, and pre-release orders for sleeves ended on November 22nd, so it is now closed.

More details on Gate Ruler's sleeves! They are 800 yen for a set (so approximately $8 USD), and come with 60 sleeves each. This is not likely any indication of any sort of side deck, as the main deck ranges from 51 to 54 cards depending on the Ruler in quesiton. The 6 extra sleeves are probably just a matter of spares, and choosing to just round up the number.

For all our western readers, it'd be worthwhile to keep an eye on AmiAmi and Hobby Search if you want these sleeves for yourself. Gate Ruler product has already showed up on AmiAmi, so that site is probably the better bet of the two for the time being.

Various official support will start from the pre-release on December 12th and the full release on December 26th. Of course, we will also have participation prizes for shop tournaments, and winner promo cards!

The top prize promo is planned to be a foil version of the popular card "Dragon-type Battle Weapon "Honoikazuchi"".

Although the report was delayed, I've received a sample of the finished product, and finally opened a Gate Ruler pack for the first time! Its a flood of emotions.

The first thing I felt was "Oh, I'm glad I was particular about this back side!" Forget about those who will say "I'll put it in a sleeve anyways".

We are analog TCG players. Even if you usually use the card in a sleeve, you will touch the card with your bare hands when opening the pack. When we take cards out of the pack, we've been unconsciously cherishing those moments that only analog TCG players can enjoy, with the card at our fingertips.

I reconfirmed it when opening a Gate Ruler pack. Take the card out of the pack. This action, which I've done hundreds and thousands of times has felt fun for the first time in a long time due to the special texture of the card back.

Also, ★★★ and ★★★★ were more than I expected. (laughs) I paid 250 yen for 1 pack (even though it was a sample, I paid money!) I don't feel disappointment when the cards aren't foil, but because of that, the satisfaction and secure feeling from pulling a foil is a good feeling. As I opened the packs I frankly felt "there are relatively many ★★★ and ★★★★". And since there are more types of cards in a set than in other TCGs, even ★ cards had many first-time cards that say "Huh? Did you pull this for the first time?!" so you can enjoy opening packs deliberately.

Speaking of enjoying opening packs deliberately, flavor texts. We are fully committed to the special flavor texts that were well received in Buddyfight. Flavor Text can be said to be "unnecessary" in terms of gameplay, I think a card is "complete" only if it fits its world setting. I think that many people that many people have expectations in this area, so I hope you enjoy it.

As a creator, there are still many points to reflect on from the 1st booster pack. However, they are all solvable and are already having those solutions applied in the development of the 2nd booster pack. For the time being, give me your impressions of opening the 1st pack...

As a result of the efforts of not only me but also the people involved in printing, I think I am proud of it as the first step!
    Please look forward to it!!

We would like to elaborate and apologize for the negative reception for the pre-release promo card "Gold Dragon King, Zoltar".

Fist of all, I'd like to apologize for the delay in releasing the information. This is a mismanagement and my responsibility. The reason for this is, "I think its unfair that the full release gets a promotional card, but there aren't benefits for the shops and users who carry the pre-release" was an opinion that came from players, shops, and even members of the dev team. I was convinced that this was correct.

The problem is that it wasn't enough to just agree with that opinion. In other words, its the result of thinking "Is it possible to provide as much as possible to the pre-release?" Then, why not include the promo pack for the full release in the pre-release? That's because the Promo Packs would not be ready until mid-December, so only "Gold Dragon King, Zoltar" with an early number could be included as a pre-release promo.

All of this would've been fine if we'd planned better in advance, but this is our first project. In addition, its a project that directly reflects the opinions of shops and players. The cause of this is that in response to the opinion of "there should be some benefits for the pre-release", I tried to do what we could right away instead of making the judgement call to not do it for this 1st release.

    I am terribly sorry.

In terms of Zoltar's power level, its a card that says "it isn't a weak card, but if you miss out, its not a required card". Its a level where it might be used temporarily in the right metagame, but running 4 copies would only be in a theme deck.

In the past, various TCGs had promo cards added after the initial release. Those who bought it on release day, didn't get those promo cards, but I saw few negative opinions about this. Because of this, I did not expect this opinion. Now I get that the times have changed.

With this scolding as food, all the plans for the 2nd set will be solidifed from the beginning. Thank you.
